Marta Gort

Marta Gort graduated in English Studies and Catalan and Occitan studies at the University of Lleida. In 2019 she received a grant to collaborate with the department of the University from the Ministry allowing her to join the research group Dedal-Lit which is when her ageing studies began. In her degree dissertation she looked at how ageing is presented in the short stories of the Canadian writer Alice Munro. Apart from literary gerontology, she has worked on comparative literature and Catalan sociolinguistic literature.
